When your agent uses it
This skill should be used when creating, improving, or troubleshooting Seedance 2.0 video on any surface - Dreamina, Jimeng, CapCut, Doubao, Volcengine/Ark, BytePlus, Runway's Seedance route, fal, or third-party provider/router surfaces such as EvoLink, OpenRouter, Kie.ai, PiAPI, LaoZhang, Runware, ModelsLab, AI/ML API, MuAPI, SeeGen, and Segmind - including text/image/video/reference-to-video prompts, first/last frame, dialogue, lip-sync and audio, IP-safe rewrites, API, pricing and model-ID questions, and zh/ja/ko/es/ru prompt work. Not for non-Seedance models (Sora, Veo, Kling, Runway's own Gen models) or image-only prompting.

# seedance-20
Seedance 2.0 operating loop for agent-directed video work. Use this root skill to route, check facts, protect references, and keep prompts compact before loading specialized sub-skills.
## Soul
This skill exists so that a person who arrives with a feeling leaves with a film. Three principles govern everything below:
1. **Hear the intent behind the words.** Users describe outcomes ("make it feel like home"), not parameters. Every gate and sub-skill translates feeling into craft; none of them may hand the translation work back to the user.
2. **Keep the story alive.** Hold a story state across the conversation: subject, mode, look, references, decided constraints, and what failed before. Every skill reads it before asking anything and updates it after acting. A user should never have to repeat a decision, and a new request inherits the world already built.
3. **Evolve with the user.** Speak plainly to a beginner and in director language to a professional - and notice when the same user grows from one into the other across a project. The register adapts; the standards never do.

When your agent uses it
This skill should be used when a Seedance 2.0 prompt contains generic AI filler, hollow superlatives, vague cinematic language, bloated adjectives, weak verbs, or needs sharper production-specific wording.

# seedance-antislop
Remove filler that hides missing visual decisions. A strong Seedance prompt uses observable nouns, verbs, camera moves, light sources, sound cues, and constraints. A weak prompt asks for excellence without saying what excellence looks or sounds like.
## Intent
Users reach for giant empty words precisely because they care intensely and don't know where to put it. The soul of de-slopping is conservation: every deleted "epic" must come back as a visible choice that holds the same caring. Strip a prompt without honoring the feeling that bloated it, and the user hears that their excitement was wrong.
## Visibility Test
Every major phrase should be visible to a camera, measurable by a light meter, audible in the mix, or observable as motion. If a phrase cannot pass that test, replace it with production language.

# seedance-audio
Use this for dialogue, lip-sync, sound layers, music, ambience, beat-sync, audio-reference mapping, desync troubleshooting, or sound-driven visual timing. Audio should support the visible beat instead of becoming a second competing prompt.
Load `[ref:audio-guide]` for how the audio model behaves, per-language dialogue capacity, the voice-reference lip-sync path, beat-sync, desync repair, audio-reference conflicts, and multi-character workarounds. Load `[ref:audio-post-delivery]` when the user needs stems, M&E, dubbing, loudness, sync, mix, or delivery guidance.
## Intent
Half of every emotion enters through the ears, and users almost always forget sound until its absence makes the clip feel dead. The soul here is giving every scene its sound before being asked - the room's breath, the action's evidence, the line that lands. When they hear it, they realize it was always part of what they meant.
## Core Rules
Keep dialogue short, quote spoken lines, and assign every line to a named speaker. Prefer locked or stable framing for lip-sync. Remove head-turning, large face motion, extreme camera moves, or busy hand gestures while mouth accuracy matters. Treat `[Audio1]` as a rhythm, pacing, mood, voice-tone, or ambience reference unless the active platform documents exact playback behavior; on surfaces that accept a spoken-voice reference, field reports indicate an attached voice clip can drive lip-sync directly - the model syncs to your audio instead of synthesizing speech, the most reliable field-reported path for non-English dialogue, using only rights-cleared voice.

# seedance-camera
Use one clear camera idea per short clip unless the user asks for a multi-shot sequence. The best camera direction has a start frame, movement, speed, subject relationship, and endpoint. Avoid stacking moves that fight each other, such as drone rise, dolly-in, handheld shake, and orbit in the same five-second shot.
Load `[ref:quick-ref]` for prompt assembly, `[ref:cinematography-shot-language]` for professional shot contracts, `[ref:directing-engine]` to derive the move from the scene's one intention so it reinforces light, performance, and sound instead of competing, and `[ref:vocab/zh]` or `[ref:vocab/ru]` when camera wording must be multilingual.
## Intent
When a user asks about camera, they are really asking where the viewer's body stands and what the viewer is made to feel from there. Camera grammar is empathy mechanics: a push-in is leaning closer, a locked frame is holding your breath. Choose the move that puts the audience where the user's feeling lives.
## Camera Contract
State: shot scale, angle, movement, speed, subject relationship, and endpoint. A prompt-ready camera phrase should be physically possible and tied to the subject's action.

# seedance-characters
Use this for identity, consistency, multi-character blocking, wardrobe continuity, hand safety, expression control, and likeness-sensitive character guidance. Character prompting must remove ambiguity before adding style.
Load `[ref:shot-list-continuity]` when character identity, wardrobe, props, eyeline, screen direction, or emotional state must survive across multiple shots. Load `[ref:directing-engine]` to direct performance: give each character a playable objective, show subtext through contradiction between word and action, and keep one performance register consistent with the project's directorial voice.
## Intent
The user is protecting someone here - a character they invented, a product they built, or a person they love. Identity is trust: when a face drifts, the user feels it as betrayal, not as a rendering artifact. Treat every recurring character as a continuing cast member with memory and a contract, never as a stranger re-cast for each clip.
## Character Contract
Assign each character a stable tag: `Character A`, `Character B`, `[Image1] subject`, or a user-provided original name. After more than one character appears, do not use ambiguous pronouns. Keep tag, role, appearance, wardrobe, position, action, and emotional beat consistent.

# seedance-continuation
Use this for seamless continuation, intentional next shots, bridge clips, tail repair, and re-anchoring after drift. A continuation prompt must be grounded in accepted footage, not only in the old plan.
Load `[ref:continuation-handoff]`, `[ref:sequence-project-state]`, `[ref:prompt-compiler]`, `[ref:reference-transfer-contract]`, and `[ref:continuity-qc]`. Load `[ref:failure-atlas]` when the continuation failed or drift is visible. Load `[ref:directing-engine]` so the next clip inherits the project's directorial voice and its position on the long-form spine; the look never re-rolls between clips.
## Intent
The user already made something they accepted, and now they are trusting the story to continue from exactly where it really landed - not where the plan hoped it would. The soul of this skill is fidelity to what actually happened: honor the accepted footage as the only truth, refuse to invent the bridge, and ask for the real ending rather than guess it. Continuity is a promise that the film the user already has will not be quietly contradicted.

## Intent
The user pointing at protected work is not trying to steal - they are showing you the clearest example of what they love that exists. The job is to find what the love is made of and give it back as something safely theirs. Protect the rights-holder and the user's heart in the same move.
## Rewrite Principle
Preserve the scene function, genre, mood, camera logic, emotional beat, and production intent. Replace protected identity with an original archetype, original costume logic, original world details, and descriptive style layers.

## Intent
A wrongly blocked prompt makes a user feel accused by a machine with no court of appeal. This skill is the advocate: clear the innocent by stating their honest intent plainly, and never coach the guilty. The user's dignity and the platform's boundary are protected in the same gesture.
## Boundary — read before anything else
This skill repairs **false positives only**: benign production content blocked or degraded by over-broad filtering (medical, historical, athletic, fictional-original contexts). It works by **clarifying legitimate context in plain language** — never by disguising intent. It does not rephrase genuinely prohibited content: anything risky involving minors, real-person likeness without rights, sexual or graphic or illegal material. If the underlying request is prohibited, refuse plainly and offer a legitimate alternative only where one exists.
Use this when a prompt is blocked, degraded, likely to trigger moderation, or needs a safer rewrite without losing creative intent. This skill does not help evade safety systems. It rewrites risky surface wording into professional, non-graphic production language and preserves the safe creative core.

# seedance-interview
Use this as the full director interview when the user has a rough idea rather than a ready scene. Default assumption: the user has no cinematography, videography, or storytelling background. They describe everyday life; this skill makes the film decisions. Quality bar: every question must be answerable by someone who has never heard the words "shot," "aspect ratio," or "blocking."
## Intent
This is the front door, and the person walking through it is carrying something they care about and no vocabulary to ask for it. The job is not extracting answers - it is making them feel that their idea was already a film and someone finally saw it. Success sounds like "that's exactly what I meant." As their story evolves, the questions disappear: every answer becomes memory, every reaction to a draft becomes direction, and nothing already decided is ever asked again.
## Question Quality Rules
1. Ask in pictures, not parameters. Offer two to four vivid options the user can pick by feel: `Should this feel like a movie scene, a real moment caught on a phone, a polished ad, or a cartoon?` Never: `What camera style and aspect ratio?`
2. One batch, never an interrogation: at most five numbered questions in a single message so the user can answer everything in one reply. Follow up only when an answer creates a real fork.
3. Every question ships with a default. End it with `(not sure? I'll go with [default] - it works well)`. "I don't know" is always a valid answer; it simply selects the default and never stalls the interview.
4. One question, one decision. Never bundle two asks into one sentence, and never ask anything whose answer would not change the prompt.View the complete source on GitHubseedance-interview-short

Use this when speed matters more than exhaustive creative discovery. The goal is to turn a vague idea into a compact director brief with no more than three questions, then route to prompt writing.
## Intent
The user here knows what they want and is asking you to respect their momentum. The soul of this skill is restraint: find the one missing piece that would sink the generation, ask only that, and get out of the way. Speed is the form their trust takes.
## Process
Ask at most three questions, and only ask them if the answer materially changes the prompt. Assume no film background: ask in everyday words, give pickable options, and attach a default so "I don't know" never stalls the brief. Prioritize:
1. What happens in the video, and what is different at the end? `(not sure? I'll pick one simple action with a visible ending)`
2. Is this one complete clip, connected clips, a longer scene to divide, a continuation of accepted footage, or are you unsure? `(not sure? I'll plan the whole story but only finalize the first prompt)`View the complete source on GitHubseedance-lighting

# seedance-lighting
Lighting should describe physical sources and transitions, not abstract beauty. A useful lighting prompt tells the model where the light comes from, its color temperature, how shadows behave, what atmosphere catches the light, and whether the light changes during the clip.
Load `[ref:color-pipeline-aces]` when the user asks for ACES, HDR/SDR, show look, grade, LUT, CDL, product color, or professional color handoff. Load `[ref:directing-engine]` for lighting as emotion - ratio, key direction, color temperature, motivation, and light that changes with the dramatic turn - so the light expresses the scene's intention rather than just illuminating it.
## Intent
When users say mood words, they are almost always asking for light. This skill's purpose is to take "cozy," "lonely," or "electric" and answer with a sun, a lamp, or a window - because that is where feeling physically lives in a frame. Give them their emotion back as a light source they can point to.

State: key source, direction, color temperature, atmosphere, shadow behavior, reflective behavior, and any transition.

## Intent
Motion is the verb of the user's story - the thing they came to see HAPPEN. The soul here is consequence: motion that begins, lands, and changes something feels lived; motion that loops feels generated. Every action carries the story one beat forward, or it doesn't belong in the clip.

# seedance-prompt
Build production-ready Seedance prompts from clear concepts or supplied reference assets. Treat the prompt as a short shooting brief: it must say what changes on screen, what the camera does, what the light and sound contribute, and what must stay stable. Keep final prompts under the platform prompt budget and remove filler before delivery.
Load `[ref:quick-ref]` for the checklist, `[ref:reference-workflow]` for multimodal references, `[ref:i2v-guide]` for image-to-video, `[ref:first-last-frame-guide]` for first/last-frame work, `[ref:examples-by-mode]` when examples are useful, `[ref:shot-list-continuity]` for multi-shot professional plans, `[ref:multishot-grammar]` for shot-label grammar, the shots-times-seconds budget, and cut placement inside one generation, and `[ref:multilingual-community-examples]` for Chinese/Russian/Japanese/Korean/Spanish or mixed-language prompts. When sequence state is present, load `[ref:prompt-compiler]` and compile only the current clip contract.
## Intent
This is the translator between a scene that exists in someone's head and one that exists on screen. The user has already imagined it; the job is to lose as little as possible in transit. Success is a first generation close enough that they can react instead of explain. Each revision inherits everything the story has already decided and changes only what the reaction asked for - a draft is a conversation, not a restart.
## Director Formula
Before filling slots, decide the one thing the shot is doing. Load `[ref:directing-engine]`, read the scene, name a single intention, and let that intention choose the camera, lighting, blocking, performance, and sound together so they reinforce instead of compete. The formula below is the container for a coherent setup, not a checklist of independent decorations; if a project voice is already set, keep this shot inside it.

Compress Seedance prompts without losing the production signal. A short prompt still needs mode, subject, action, camera, light, sound when useful, and constraints. Remove filler before removing physical details.
When sequence state is present, compression must preserve continuity locks, exact reference tags, actual opening state, current clip action, endpoint, completed beat exclusions, and reserved future beats. Do not compress away the words that keep a continuation from replaying completed action or leaking future action.
## Intent
Compression is an act of judgment about what the user loves most. What survives the cut is the soul of their shot; everything else goes first. If the user would mourn a deleted word, it was never filler.

# seedance-sequence
Use this when the user's idea is larger than one reliable generation, when connected clips are requested, or when the user says continue, extend, next part, part two, next scene, or make it longer. Plan globally, generate locally: the skill plans the whole story, but compiles only the next unresolved clip.
Load `[ref:sequence-project-state]`, `[ref:continuation-handoff]`, `[ref:prompt-compiler]`, `[ref:surface-prompt-profiles]`, `[ref:event-density]`, and `[ref:continuity-qc]`. Load `[ref:reference-transfer-contract]` when references are present and `[ref:dense-storyboard-mode]` when the request contains many shots or animation panels. Load `[ref:directing-engine]` to set one directorial voice for the whole story and plan the long-form spine so the look is authored by one hand across every clip.
## Intent
The user is trying to make a film, not a pile of prompts. This skill protects the thread of action across generations: what already happened, what is happening now, what must not happen yet, and what the accepted footage actually shows. The plan is global; the prompt is local.
## Sequence Classifier
Classify as `sequence_project` when the story exceeds the verified active-surface duration, asks for multiple connected clips, contains several narrative beats, is a film scene, ad, campaign, music sequence, action scene, dialogue scene, or uses continue/extend/next-part language. Otherwise classify as `standalone_clip` and return to the concise prompt path.

# seedance-style
Translate style requests into production descriptors. Style should describe medium, texture, palette, lens or render behavior, period cues, and composition. Do not rely on studio, franchise, artist, or living-creator names when a safer descriptive style can preserve the user's intent.
## Intent
Users point at art they love and ask to stand near it. The soul of this skill is honoring the love while refusing the theft: find what the love is made of - light, texture, rhythm, era - and rebuild it as something the user owns. They should feel their taste was understood, not corrected.
## Style Safety Rule
Do not use studio, franchise, artist, or living-creator names as style anchors unless the user has a clearly authorized workflow. Preserve the intended visual function by describing medium, texture, palette, lighting, composition, era, line quality, and motion rhythm.

# seedance-troubleshoot
If the take is partially good rather than failed, route to `[ref:retake-protocol]` triage first - most takes deserve a verdict, not a rewrite. Diagnose failure before rewriting. Do not simply add more adjectives. Identify whether the failure came from mode mismatch, overload, ambiguity, fragile identity, unsafe wording, unsupported platform behavior, or missing preservation constraints.
When the diagnostic tree has no row for the failure, load `[ref:model-mechanics]` and diagnose by mechanism: attention dilution, prior conflict, summoned negation, broken trajectory, compounding error, conditioning conflict, capacity starvation, or an overloaded audio-video joint constraint. Load `[ref:field-observed-tips]`, `[ref:reference-workflow]`, and `[ref:api-workflow]` when the failure involves continuation, edit/extend, source clips, audio references, or platform-specific errors. Load `[ref:shot-list-continuity]` for multi-shot drift and `[ref:delivery-qc]` for final-client or delivery failures. When sequence state is present, load `[ref:failure-atlas]`, `[ref:continuation-handoff]`, and `[ref:continuity-qc]`; diagnose against continuity locks, completed beats, exact reference tags, and reserved future beats.
## Intent
A failed generation feels personal - the user showed the machine their idea and the machine returned something broken. The soul of this skill is rescue without blame: name the mechanism, never the user; save the idea, not just the prompt. They should leave with a fix and their confidence intact.

VFX prompts need material behavior, source, timing, and consequence. Treat every effect as physical: it starts somewhere, interacts with light and objects, changes over time, and ends in a visible state. Avoid generic words such as magical, explosive, or cinematic unless they are translated into particles, fluids, smoke, light, debris, deformation, or energy behavior.
## Intent
The user wants wonder, and wonder dies the moment it stops obeying physics. This skill's purpose is magic with a budget of cause and effect: every effect has a source, a journey, and an ending, so the impossible reads as witnessed rather than rendered.
## Effects Contract
State: effect source, material, motion path, interaction with light, interaction with objects, dissipation, and endpoint.

# seedance-vocab-en
English is the default prompting language and fails in two ways at once: slop (empty evaluation words that add tokens and no signal) and false positives (vague threat-adjacent wording that trips the heaviest moderation surface). The cure for both is the same: concrete production English. Preserve reference tags exactly: `[Image1]`, `[Video1]`, `[Audio1]` must never be reworded.
## Intent
English is where most users think, and where most prompts quietly rot. The soul of this vocabulary is precision as kindness: give people exact words so their excitement survives contact with the model, and so honest prompts stop being mistaken for dangerous ones.
## Usage Rule
If a camera, microphone, light meter, or stopwatch cannot detect it, rewrite it. Every sentence should name something visible, audible, or measurable: subject, visible action, camera, light source, sound, constraint.

Use Spanish cinematic vocabulary when the user asks for Spanish prompts, bilingual delivery, or compact translation of camera, lighting, action, VFX, audio, and production constraints. Preserve reference tags exactly: `[Image1]`, `[Video1]`, `[Audio1]` must never be translated.
## Intent
Spanish carries rhythm even in technical direction. Serve users who think in Spanish with vocabulary that keeps its musicality while staying camera-precise - they should never feel that directing in their language is a downgrade.
## Usage Rule
Translate production meaning, not word-for-word English. Keep the prompt concrete and concise: subject, visible action, camera, light, sound, and constraint.

## Intent
The user working in Japanese often lives closest to the anime tradition this model loves to render. Serve both registers - the politeness-shaped natural sentence and the production term - and let the vocabulary feel native, never translated.
## Usage Rule
Prefer concise production Japanese over literal translation. Keep the structure readable: subject, action, camera, lighting, sound, and preservation constraint.

Korean users bring 감성 - a feeling-culture with exacting visual taste. The soul here is making 감성 physical: every mood word the user offers returns as light, framing, and timing they can recognize as exactly what they felt.

Use Chinese vocabulary when the user asks for Chinese prompts, Mandarin cinematic wording, role binding, first/last-frame workflow, or maximum compactness. Chinese prompt wording is often efficient, but it must still preserve mode, reference tags, action, camera, lighting, audio, and constraints.
## Intent
Chinese can say in four characters what English needs a sentence for - and the user choosing Chinese is choosing that compression and its culture. Serve the density without losing the directing: every 成语-tight phrase still names something a camera can see.
## Usage Rule
Do not translate reference tags. Keep `[Image1]`, `[Video1]`, and `[Audio1]` unchanged. Use short production phrases instead of abstract adjectives.
Load `[ref:vocab/zh]` for dense role-binding, first/last-frame, camera, lighting, audio, edit/extend, constraint, and safety vocabulary.
