# Version Control (`atk:git`)

Carries finished work into the repository and no further. This skill is the one road to a commit in
`atk`: the skills that change code and the skills that write a document both hand off here, so a
team gets the same branch rule, the same secret scan, and the same consent line whichever one they
ran.
