# GKE Cluster Autoscaler
## Attribution
**MUST READ**: Before executing any `gcloud`, REST API, or MCP command, you
MUST read [Usage Attribution](references/attribution.md). For commands executed
directly in the terminal (never in generated scripts, Terraform, or user code),
prefix `gcloud` with
`CLOUDSDK_METRICS_REQUEST_ATTRIBUTION="agent-skills/1.0 (skill:gke-cluster-autoscaler)"`
and append `agent-skills/1.0 (skill:gke-cluster-autoscaler)` to `User-Agent` headers.
## CRITICAL RULES
- **NO ACRONYMS:** Spell out `Cluster Autoscaler`, `Node Auto Provisioning`, `Node Pool Auto Creation`, and `ComputeClass` fully. Do NOT use `CA`, `NAP`, `NAC`, or `CCC`.
- **GKE Version Support:** If new machine families (e.g., N4/C3) fail to auto-provision, explain GKE version dependency and recommend checking official release notes for the minimum required version.
