# Sliver C2 Framework

Sliver is an open-source, cross-platform adversary emulation framework by BishopFox. It supports beacon (async) and session (interactive) implants over mTLS, HTTPS, DNS, and WireGuard channels with multi-operator support.

## Hosted engagement path

The hosted Run uses an engagement-isolated E2B Sliver companion. Provision it only when an authorized objective requires C2 by calling `c2_ensure`; `c2_status` merely observes an existing companion. Use the registered `sliver_` MCP tools for listener jobs, implants, sessions, beacons, and commands. The initial tool set includes `sliver_start_http_listener`, `sliver_generate_implant`, `sliver_list_sessions`, and `sliver_list_beacons`. Call `c2_find_tools` for an uncommon operation and inspect its native argument schema before invocation. The C2 tab mirrors RPC activity; it is not an interactive control channel.

Use the public HTTPS `listenerUrl` returned by `c2_ensure` for an implant unless another reachable listener was explicitly configured. `sliver_generate_implant` returns an artifact ID; `c2_stage_artifact` copies that artifact into the engagement terminal sandbox for authorized delivery. To send a terminal file to a Sliver target, call `c2_import_artifact` with its `/workspace` path, then use the returned artifact ID with the relevant `sliver_` MCP operation. Do not invent a local Docker host, operator config, or CLI session for a hosted run.

## Standalone OSS console reference

The following CLI examples apply only when a standalone runtime actually exposes a local Sliver server, a client config, and an interactive terminal. They are not the hosted production path.
