open-design-browser

Inspect and exercise local HTML design artifacts and library prototype previews with the existing agent-browser CLI, including screenshots, interaction checks, and rendered DOM snapshots. Use when rendered evidence helps author or review a design; excludes browser installation, remote services, and unrelated browser automation.

# Inspect local HTML

This is a maintained local adaptation for OpenDesign artifacts. Use the installed `agent-browser` CLI when available. Check `command -v agent-browser` if availability is unknown. If the CLI or browser is missing, report what could not be checked and continue applicable source checks; do not install or download a browser as a side effect of design work.

## Open and exercise

Use a unique named session owned by this task with its own browser. Do not use `--auto-connect`, `--cdp`, the user's browser profile, or a different browser integration. If local configuration would attach to a shared browser, report the limitation instead. Substitute the actual absolute artifact path and URL-encode spaces in its `file://` URL. Start from the delivered file, without adding a preview server or dashboard. For a library prototype, open the preview URL recorded in `docs/design/prototyping.md` instead; it is served on the local machine by the project's own development command, and `--allow-file-access` is unnecessary:

```bash
agent-browser --session "od-<task-id>" --allow-file-access open "file:///absolute/workspace/docs/design/example/index.html"
agent-browser --session "od-<task-id>" get title
agent-browser --session "od-<task-id>" get url
agent-browser --session "od-<task-id>" snapshot -i
```
