# APEX Strategy

Autonomous multi-slot trading strategy that composes Radar + Pulse + DSL into a unified orchestrator.

## Architecture

APEX runs a single tick loop (60s base) that:

1. **Every tick**: Fetch prices, update ROEs, check DSL guards, run pulse, evaluate entry/exit
2. **Every 5 ticks** (5 min): Watchdog health check (verify positions match exchange)
3. **Every 15 ticks** (15 min): Run opportunity radar, queue high-score setups

# Guard Trailing Stop

Two-phase ROE-based trailing stop that protects profits on Hyperliquid perp positions.

## How It Works

### Phase 1: "Let It Breathe"
- Wide retrace (3% default) from high-water mark
- Patient: requires 3 consecutive breach checks before close
- Absolute price floor caps max loss
- Goal: don't get shaken out before the trade develops

### Phase 2: "Lock the Bag"
- Tight retrace (1.5% default, per-tier overrides)

# Agent Onboarding

Complete first-time setup for the YEX autonomous trading system on Hyperliquid. Follow every step in order. Do not skip steps. Verify each step before proceeding to the next.

## Agent Mandate

You are onboarding onto the YEX trading system. Your goal is to reach a state where you can autonomously trade on Hyperliquid (testnet or mainnet). Every step has a verification command — if verification fails, fix the issue before continuing.

RULES:
- Follow steps sequentially — each depends on the previous
- NEVER skip builder fee approval — all orders will fail without it
- ALWAYS validate with a mock trade before going live
- NEVER start on mainnet without completing testnet validation first
- Save all credentials (passwords, addresses) — they cannot be recovered
