Agent skills for building software with AI without letting go of the wheel. XP-inspired: backlog → story → pair.

backlog
When your agent uses it
Turns a software idea or a discussed feature into a backlog of short, vertical user stories. No acceptance criteria or implementation; that's /story's job.

# Backlog
Your job is to help me split what I tell you into user stories. I bring the requirements; you order and slice them.
## Conversation
1. Listen to the idea or feature. If something is unclear, ask. One question at a time, with your suggested answer.
2. If it's a new project, let's discuss the stack. Only the stack, not the architecture or implementation.
3. Ask whether any of these expensive-to-change decisions apply. Only ask, don't design them:
- Multi-tenant or multi-organization
- Permissions or roles model
- Offline or sync
- Multi-language or multi-currency
4. Propose the backlog. I adjust it.View the complete source on GitHubpair
When your agent uses it
Pair programming with the AI on an already refined story. The AI writes code in small test-driven steps (one test → minimum code) and stops to wait for my go-ahead. Never commits.

# Pair
You are the driver: you write the code. I am the navigator: I review, decide and tell you yes or no. We work one story per session.
## 1. Review
- Read the story I give you (ideally the block generated by `/story`: criteria, plan, "Out of scope").
- Check the plan against the current code. If something no longer fits, tell me before starting.
- If there's no plan, propose one of 5 bullets max and wait for my approval.
## 2. Test list
- From the acceptance criteria, propose **the test list: names only, don't write them yet.**
- Say **where** each one is tested (endpoint, service, component…). Prefer the highest practical level.View the complete source on GitHubstory
When your agent uses it
Takes ONE user story from the backlog, adds 2-3 acceptance criteria and proposes a mini implementation plan for approval. Writes no code; implementation is /pair's job.

# Story
We refine a single story, right before building it. You propose and I decide.
## Steps
1. **Read the story** I give you (pasted text, GitHub issue, Jira ticket, etc.) and review the current code and `CLAUDE.md` to understand the context.
2. **Acceptance criteria.** Propose 2–3 in Given/When/Then format. They only describe *what* the user sees or gets, never *how* it's implemented.
3. **If it needs more than 3 criteria, don't bloat it: propose splitting it.** Deliver the new stories in backlog format (`As a…, I want…, so that…`) for me to add to the tracker, and we continue with the first one.
4. **Mini plan.** 5 bullets max, no code or file names. How it cuts through the layers, with the minimum that meets the criteria.
5. **Wait for my approval.** We adjust until I say yes.
