seed-closer
When your agent uses it
The Closer. Sends personalised outreach emails to investors, manages the conversations and keeps following up until an investor call is booked, and nothing leaves the user's inbox without their yes. Drafts one RFC 5322 .eml per investor from seed/investors.json and a template (a real personal line, the sender's real name and an opt-out line, generic lines refused), shows the batch, records the user's yes word for word, enforces a daily cap of 20, then Claude sends through the user's own Gmail connector where the Allow once card is a second check. Schedules follow-ups on +3 and +7 business days (3 touches at most, never after a reply), sorts replies into interested / question / not now / no / out of office, stops a thread for good on a no, an opt-out or a bounce, writes a valid .ics invite and shows the funnel. Reads seed/config.json and seed/investors.json, writes seed/pipeline.json, seed/outreach/ and seed/calls/. Use when the user says "email the investors", "send the outreach", "follow up with everyone who hasn't replied", "who do I follow up with today", "sort my replies", "book the call", "send her an invite", "how is the raise going", or after /seed-investors ranks the list.

# seed-closer
The Closer does the part of a raise that eats the founder's week: one
personal email per investor, the follow-ups nobody remembers to send, the
replies sorted, and the call on the calendar. It writes everything; it never
sends anything. Claude sends through the user's own Gmail, only after the
user said yes to that exact batch in the chat, and Claude's own "Allow once"
card asks again for every email. All the user has to do is say yes, show up
and pitch. Investors decide; nothing here promises a check.

Pitch Coach. Rehearses the investor call with you: drills the hard questions investors ask (market, competition, traction, unit economics, team, why now, risks, the ask), tailored to your own numbers from the competitor scout, the financial model, the market size and the investor you are meeting ("Rover has 515,771 ratings. Why will owners switch?"), grades your written answers (a number, specifics, no hedging, under a minute spoken, answer first) and writes a 20-minute plan for a booked first call. Reads seed/competitors.json, model.json, market.json, investors.json, pipeline.json and calls/. Use when the user says "prep me for the call", "practice my pitch", "what will investors ask", "drill me", "grade my answer", "mock investor", "call agenda", or after /seed-closer books a call.

The Pitch Coach gets you ready for the questions that sink first calls. It
reads the numbers the other seed skills wrote and turns them into the
questions a sharp investor will ask about them, with your own figures next to
each one so you can answer in a sentence. Then it grades what you say against
the things investors listen for, and lays out the 20 minutes of a booked
call so you spend them on the story, not on small talk.

Data Room Builder. Assembles the data room investors ask for and tells you what is missing. Lays out the nine standard folders (01 Company, 02 Pitch deck, 03 Financials, 04 Market, 05 Product, 06 Team, 07 Legal, 08 Cap table, 09 Customers), checks the files against a 25-item checklist (present, missing, or stale by the date in the file name or its last change), writes seed/dataroom/INDEX.md describing every file, and lists what to share before a term sheet and what only after one. Flags what must never be in a data room: passwords, keys, ID documents, raw customer lists. It never uploads or shares anything. Use when the user says "build my data room", "what goes in a data room", "what am I missing for diligence", "the investor asked for the data room", "what can I share now", "make an index of my documents", or after a /seed-closer call goes well or /seed-terms reads a term sheet.

# seed-dataroom
The Data Room Builder gets the documents in order before an investor asks
for them, so the answer to "can you send the data room?" is a link the same
day, not a week of digging. It sets up the standard folders, checks what is
there against the list investors work through, warns when a file is too old
to send (a cap table from last quarter, metrics from June), and writes an
index so the investor can find everything. It also keeps the sequence
straight: the deck and the model go out after a first meeting; the cap table,
contracts and bank statements wait for a signed term sheet.

Pitch Deck Designer. Turns the business plan into a 10-slide pitch deck in the order investors expect: title, problem, solution, market, competition, business model, go-to-market, team, financials, the ask. Writes ONE self-contained 16:9 HTML file (inline CSS, no fonts or scripts from the web, arrow-key navigation, a print stylesheet that saves to PDF one slide a page) in your brand colours, with real charts drawn from your numbers. Lints it: 35 words or fewer a slide, one idea a slide, a use of funds that adds up to the raise, and every number on a slide traced to your plan, model, market or competitor files. Reads seed/plan.json, writes seed/deck.html. Use when the user says "make my pitch deck", "turn the plan into a deck", "build the slides", "check my deck", "how many words a slide", or after /seed-plan.

# seed-deck
The Pitch Deck Designer turns the plan into the ten slides a partner flips
through in three minutes. Each slide carries one idea in a line or two, and
the numbers come from the files, not from memory: the competitors' weak
points from their own reviews, the market from sourced inputs, the unit
economics and the three years of revenue from the model, the use of funds
from the raise. The deck is a single HTML file you can open anywhere, present
with the arrow keys and print to PDF. A good deck earns a meeting; it does
not guarantee a check. Investors decide.

Investor Finder. Researches the best investors for your idea from public sources only (the firm's own site, public profiles found through web search, SEC EDGAR Form D filings, the press) and ranks them by fit, 0 to 100, with the reasons and a source link on every row: stage, sectors, check size against your ask, geography, how recent their last relevant deal is, and a warm intro. Reads SEC Form D filings to see who in your space raised, how much and when. Writes seed/investors.json for the Closer and the Pitch Coach. Use when the user says "find investors", "who should I pitch", "which VCs invest in pet tech", "build my investor list", "rank these investors", "who funded companies like mine", "Form D", or after /seed-plan, before /seed-closer.

# seed-investors
The Investor Finder builds the list you will actually email. A good list is
short and specific: people who invest at your stage, in your space, with a
check that fits your round, who did a relevant deal recently. Claude does the
research on the open web, writes one row per investor with the links it
read, and this tool ranks the rows the same way every time and says why.
Every fact keeps its source, so you can check it before you lean on it.

Market Sizer. Sizes your market the way investors check it: TAM top-down (population x share x spend a year), SAM bottom-up (customers you can reach x purchases a year x price) and SOM (the share of SAM you can win in N years, with a stated reason). Every input carries a source (a URL, a named publication, or an assumption said out loud), vague sources are refused, and it refuses any result that breaks SOM <= SAM <= TAM. Records sourced facts the deck quotes. Writes seed/market.json for the plan, the deck and the pitch coach. Use when the user says "how big is my market", "TAM SAM SOM", "size the market", "market size slide", "is this market big enough", or after /seed-scout, before /seed-model and /seed-plan.

# seed-market
The Market Sizer turns "a huge market" into three numbers an investor can
check. The total market (TAM) is everyone who could buy, top-down from
public data. The market you can serve (SAM) is built bottom-up from the
customers you can actually reach, how often they buy and your price. The
share you can win (SOM) is a slice of SAM over a few years, with the reason
written next to it. Every input says where it came from, and the guesses are
labelled as guesses so nobody mistakes them for facts.

Financial Modeler. Builds the 36-month financial model behind your raise: customers, orders, GMV, revenue (GMV x your take rate), contribution, payroll, marketing (new customers x CAC), opex, net and cash, month by month, then the numbers investors ask for: runway, the breakeven month, peak burn, revenue for years 1 to 3, and the unit economics (contribution per order, CAC payback, LTV:CAC). Checks that the use of funds adds up to the raise and exports a CSV. Reads seed/assumptions.json, writes seed/model.json for the business plan, the deck and the pitch coach. Use when the user says "build my financial model", "how long will the money last", "what's my runway", "when do we break even", "3-year projections", "use of funds", "how much should I raise", "unit economics", "burn rate", or before /seed-plan and /seed-deck.

# seed-model
The Financial Modeler turns a handful of assumptions into the 36 months an
investor will ask about. You say what a walk (or an order, or a seat) costs,
how much of it you keep, how many customers you win and lose, who you hire
and when, and how much you are raising. It does the arithmetic, every month,
to the cent, and tells you when the money runs out, when the business pays
for itself and what each customer is worth. Every number traces back to an
assumption you can change and defend. It is a plan, not a forecast: the
model is only as honest as its inputs.

Business Planner. Turns your idea into a business plan investors can read: the nine sections (executive summary, problem, solution, market, competition, business model, go-to-market, financial plan, use of funds), written with you, with the numbers pulled from the other seed skills' files: TAM, SAM and SOM from seed/market.json, competitors' weak points from seed/competitors.json, revenue, breakeven and runway from seed/model.json. Computes the unit economics (take rate, contribution per order, CAC payback, LTV:CAC) and flags empty sections and numbers that disagree between files. Writes seed/config.json, seed/plan.json and seed/plan.md. Use when the user says "turn my idea into a business plan", "write my business plan", "I have a startup idea", "help me plan my startup", "check my plan", "unit economics", or before /seed-deck.

# seed-plan
The Business Planner turns an idea into the document behind a raise. It sets
up the startup's shared config (name, one-liner, the raise, the founder), lays
out the nine sections every investor expects, and, once Claude and the
founder have written them, stitches in the numbers the other skills found:
the market size, the competitors' weak points, the model's revenue, breakeven
and runway. It works out the unit economics itself and checks the whole thing
for holes: an empty section, a raise that is $1.5M in one file and $1.2M in
another, a use of funds that does not add up, a market share bigger than the
market. A plan is a way to think clearly, not a promise of funding: the pack
does the work, investors decide.

Competitor Scout. Finds the weak points of your competitors in their own App Store reviews: searches the App Store for the apps people already use for your idea, reads up to the 500 most recent reviews of each, sorts the one- and two-star ones into themes (fees and pricing, cancellations and no-shows, support, bugs, trust and safety, payments and refunds, availability), and names each rival's weak point with the evidence ("106 of 341 recent 1-2 star reviews mention fees"). Writes seed/reviews/ and seed/competitors.json for the plan, the deck and the pitch coach. Use when the user says "who are my competitors", "find my competitors' weak points", "what do people hate about Rover", "read their reviews", "scout the competition", "competitor research", "why do customers leave X", or at the start of a raise, before /seed-market.

# seed-scout
The Competitor Scout finds the gap you can win in. People who already pay a
rival tell the App Store exactly what is wrong with it, in public, every day.
This skill reads those reviews in bulk, counts what the angry ones complain
about, and turns that into one plain sentence per rival that a business plan
and a pitch deck can stand on. It reports what reviewers wrote and how often.
It never makes a complaint up, and it never calls a rival bad in general.

Term Sheet Reader. Reads a SAFE or a term sheet in plain English, does the dilution math and flags the clauses to ask a lawyer about. Works out what a post-money SAFE owns at its cap and what it converts into at a priced round (cap price vs discount price, whichever is lower), builds a priced round's cap table with the option-pool shuffle (price per share, new shares, the pool top-up, the effective pre-money, everyone's dilution), and scans a pasted term sheet for the traps: liquidation preference over 1x, participating preferred, full ratchet, redemption, cumulative dividends, board control, operating vetoes, pay-to-play, drag-along, long no-shops, exploding deadlines, founder vesting resets, super pro rata and MFN, each with a severity and a question for the lawyer. Not legal advice. Writes seed/terms/ with --write. Use when the user says "read this term sheet", "is this a good deal", "what does this SAFE mean", "how much do I own after", "how much dilution", "what's the option pool shuffle", "what is a post-money cap", "any red flags in this", or when an investor sends terms after a /seed-closer call.

# seed-terms
The Term Sheet Reader is for the day an investor says yes and sends paper.
It does two jobs. First the arithmetic: what a SAFE really owns, what a
priced round does to the cap table, and how much of "the valuation" is
quietly paid by the founders through a bigger option pool. Then the reading:
it walks through the document and flags the clauses founders most often
regret, in plain words, with the exact question to put to a lawyer.
**Not legal advice, and not investment advice.** It is arithmetic and a
keyword reader. A startup lawyer should read every document before the user
signs anything, and the scanner only flags clauses it knows.

Investor Updates. Writes the monthly investor update that keeps investors warm: a TL;DR, every metric with its month-over-month growth, highlights, lowlights, the asks, and the runway worked out from your cash and your average net burn. A short "prospects" version goes to warm investors who said "not now": the headline numbers, two highlights, the raise and an opt-out line, with no cash or runway. Reads seed/metrics.json (and seed/config.json for the founder and the raise), writes seed/updates/YYYY-MM.md. Never sends anything on its own. Use when the user says "write my investor update", "monthly update", "update my investors", "keep investors warm", "follow up with investors who said not now", "what's my runway", "MoM growth", or at the start of each month.

# seed-updates
Investor Updates is the habit that makes the next round easier. Once a month,
a short, honest email: what the numbers did, what went well, what did not,
what you need, and how long the money lasts. Investors who already backed you
can help when they know the asks; investors who said "not now" watch the line
go up and come back. This skill keeps the numbers in one file, works out the
growth and the runway exactly, and writes the update in the standard shape.
It writes. It does not send: the founder reads it and says yes first.
`${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}` below is this skill's folder (where this SKILL.md lives).
