# Invoices
The finance system is reachable ONLY through the `stubfin` connector's tools,
`list_invoices` and `invoice`. Call them for every figure you report. Never
use Bash, WebFetch or any other tool to reach it, and never estimate a figure.
## How to answer
1. Resolve the period the person means (for example `2026-Q2`) and call
`list_invoices` with it. For a single invoice id call `invoice`.
2. Report exactly what the tool returned: each invoice id, customer, amount and
status. If asked for a total, add the amounts the tool returned and show the
sum with the ids that make it up.
3. If a tool returns an error, quote the error text and stop. Do not retry moreView the complete source on GitHubimplement-issue

# Implement one issue
## Phases
Every run walks nine phases, named in each step heading below: `read_issue`,
`pin_criteria`, `plan` (which starts by exploring the repository),
`plan_review`, `failing_test`, `implement` (which also runs the checks),
`review_diff`, `publish` and `wait_ci`. The plan review is one advisory
round: `plan` and `plan_review` run once. Two pairs loop: `implement` and
`review_diff`, at most 5 completed rounds, then `wait_ci` back to `implement`
when the pull request's checks fail, at most 3 rounds.

# GitHub activity over a window
## When to run
The user wants a summary of repository activity since a point in time: merged
pull requests, issues opened and closed, and milestone movement, usually across
several repositories at once. Typical asks are "what merged since Monday" or
"what changed since my last update".
## How to answer
1. Work out the window. `since` is the start as ISO 8601 (for example
`2026-09-28T00:00:00Z`): the last run time when this is a recurring report,
otherwise the date the user named. `until` is optional and defaults to now.
2. Call `repository_activity` on the `github` server with `since`, and `until`
when the user gave an end. Pass `repositories` (a list of `owner/name`) onlyView the complete source on GitHubgithub-issues

# GitHub issue triage
## When to run
The user asks about a repository's issues or pull requests — to list open
issues, summarize them, find ones by label/assignee/author, or draft a new
issue for review.
## How to answer
1. Identify the repository (`owner/repo`). Ask if the user did not name one.
2. Call the `github` server's tools:
- list/search issues to pull the current open set,
- fetch a single issue when the user asks about one in particular.
3. Summarize plainly: title, number, author, labels, and a one-line gist.

Answer questions about production health and investigate incidents with live Kubernetes and observability data. Invoke when someone asks whether something is broken, slow, erroring or down; what happened in an outage or time window; about alerts, logs, metrics, traces or error rates; or for a production status check. Invoke for any question about the Kubernetes cluster -- pods, nodes, namespaces, workloads, jobs, restarts, CrashLoopBackOff, OOMKills, pending pods, evictions, rollouts, replicas, resources, throttling, node pressure or volumes. Invoke for catalog questions about the observability stack -- which metrics, log streams, dashboards, datasources or alert rules exist and what they are called. Also invoke for any question about yourself or the platform you run on -- your version or Curie's, upgrading yourself or the platform, what you can and cannot do, and any request to change, scale, restart, delete, drain or cordon something.

# Production triage
You answer questions about production health for the whole team -- engineers
and non-engineers alike. Most people asking will not know PromQL, LogQL, or
which datasource holds what. They will ask things like "is anything broken?"
or "why is checkout slow?". Your job is to turn that into the right queries,
then answer in plain language.
## First alert reply decision
Choose the alert's evidence state before writing. This decision takes precedence
over general explanation advice; it does not replace tool or approval rules and
never authorizes a change. A confirmed provider error is separate from its cause,
planned-work attribution and user impact. The table is for a confirmed error withView the complete source on GitHubtext-stats

# Text statistics
## When to run
The user asks how many words or characters a passage has, or how long it takes
to read.
## How to answer
1. Take the text the user provided (or asks about).
2. Call the in-bundle engine's tool for the metric requested:
- `word_count` for a word total.
- `char_count` for a character total (pass `include_whitespace: false` to
exclude spaces).
- `reading_time_minutes` for an estimated read time at 200 wpm.
3. Report the number plainly, naming the metric and the text it applies to.View the complete source on GitHubweather

# Weather
## When to run
The user asks about the weather, a forecast, temperature, rain or snow chances, or whether a day suits an outdoor plan.
## How to answer
1. **Fix the date first.** Note today's date from the environment. Resolve "today", "tomorrow", or a weekday into an explicit calendar date (e.g. "Wed, July 8, 2026"). Carry that date through every step.
2. **Resolve the location.** If the user named it, use it. If not, ask one short question instead of guessing.
3. **Search to find a source, not to get the answer.** Always start with `WebSearch`, even when you already know a forecast URL: the search is how you confirm the source is current. Run a web search like `<city> weather forecast <date>` to locate a forecast page. Do NOT report numbers from the search-result summary itself. Those summaries frequently merge the wrong day or location and are the top cause of a wrong forecast.
4. **Fetch the actual source.** `WebFetch` the forecast page (prefer a national weather service such as weather.gov, or a major provider). Read the high, low, sky, and precipitation for **the exact date you fixed in step 1**.
5. **Verify the date matches before you report.** The fetched forecast must state the day you were asked about. If the page shows a different date, or you cannot fetch a page whose date matches, do not report a number. Say what you tried and that you could not confirm a current forecast. A plausible-looking summary for the wrong day is worse than saying you could not confirm.
6. **Report** in two or three sentences: expected high and low, sky conditions, and precipitation chance, with the location and the explicit date. Then name the source you actually fetched.
