# dont-lie-to-me
## Overview
`dont-lie-to-me` is a claim-discipline layer for Hermes.
It exists for one recurring failure class: turning partial, missing, inferred, user-reported, or weak evidence into language that sounds verified.
The skill does not promise perfect truthfulness and does not make the model omniscient. It changes the process used before material claims are stated.
Core rule:
```text
claim -> required evidence -> check -> state, qualify, or removeView the complete source on GitHubhermes-change-review
When your agent uses it
# Hermes Change Review
## Overview
Review implementation work on three independent axes:
1. **Intent**: did the change build what was actually requested?
2. **Repository**: does the implementation fit the codebase's architecture, conventions, and safety boundaries?
3. **Verification**: what test, CI, build, or runtime evidence actually supports the completion claim?
Keep the axes separate. Clean code can implement the wrong thing. Correct behavior can arrive through poor architecture. A convincing diff can still be unverified.
# hermes-environment-migration
## Overview
A platform-aware migration protocol that refuses blind copies of machine-bound state and separates ordinary configuration from credentials and encrypted vault material.
The skill is evidence-first. It identifies unavailable evidence, separates facts from interpretations, and does not claim a repair or successful outcome merely because a command returned without an obvious error.
## When to Use
- Move my Hermes setup to a new machine.
- Prepare a Hermes migration export.
- Verify and import this Hermes archive.
- Migrate profiles, skills, memory, and cron safely.
# hermes-gateway-doctor
## Overview
A read-only gateway doctor that verifies the actual process instead of trusting stale state files and keeps credential handling out of command history and reports.
The skill is evidence-first. It identifies unavailable evidence, separates facts from interpretations, and does not claim a repair or successful outcome merely because a command returned without an obvious error.
## When to Use
- Telegram stopped responding through Hermes.
- Is my Hermes gateway actually running?
- Diagnose a gateway polling conflict.
- Why are scheduled messages not delivering?
# Hermes Kanbanize
## Overview
Turn work that has already been discussed into a Hermes-native Kanban execution graph.
The skill synthesizes existing context first, checks for existing boards/tasks, creates complete work slices with acceptance criteria and genuine dependencies, verifies the persisted graph, and leaves scheduling/execution to Hermes' native Kanban machinery.
## When to Use
Use this skill when:
- the user asks to turn a conversation, plan, or spec into a Hermes Kanban board
- the user asks to break a substantial objective into executable Hermes tasks
- work should be prepared for Hermes Kanban or Swarm executionView the complete source on GitHubhermes-profile-audit
# hermes-profile-audit
## Overview
A read-only profile assessment that compares declared responsibilities to actual tools, skills, persistence, access, and observed behavior without rewriting the profile automatically.
The skill is evidence-first. It identifies unavailable evidence, separates facts from interpretations, and does not claim a repair or successful outcome merely because a command returned without an obvious error.
## When to Use
- Audit this Hermes profile.
- Why does this profile keep making the same mistake?
- Check whether the profile has too much access.
- Review the profile before we rely on it.
# Hermes Session Handoff
## Overview
Create a compact continuation packet that lets a fresh Hermes session, profile, machine, or compatible agent resume real work without treating old narration as proof.
The handoff is a state transfer, not a transcript summary. Preserve decisions and next actions. Reference existing specs, issues, commits, boards, reports, and files instead of copying them. Separate verified state from user-reported state, plans, blockers, and unknowns.
## When to Use
Use this skill when:
- the user asks for a handoff, continuation prompt, or fresh-session prompt
- a long session is approaching a context boundary
- work is moving to another Hermes profile, machine, or compatible agentView the complete source on GitHubhermes-skill-audit
# hermes-skill-audit
## Overview
A read-only health audit for global and profile-local Hermes skills, including dependency references, frontmatter, usage metadata, cron dependencies, duplicates, and upstream drift.
The skill is evidence-first. It identifies unavailable evidence, separates facts from interpretations, and does not claim a repair or successful outcome merely because a command returned without an obvious error.
## When to Use
- Audit my installed Hermes skills.
- Find duplicate or broken skills.
- Which skills are stale or unused?
- Check skill references before cleanup.
# hermes-skill-consolidate
## Overview
A write-side companion to `hermes-skill-audit` for reducing skill duplication without flattening distinct responsibilities or weakening safety boundaries.
The skill separates **analysis** from **mutation**. It first produces an evidence-backed consolidation plan without changing the installation. A second, scope-bound approval is required before any live write. Ambiguity defaults to keeping skills separate.
## When to Use
- Consolidate these overlapping Hermes skills.
- Merge two skills that `hermes-skill-audit` flagged as duplicates.
- Extract shared guidance from several related skills without merging their safety boundaries.
- Deprecate a superseded skill after checking references and rollback.
- Split an oversized umbrella skill into narrower skills.View the complete source on GitHubhermes-stack-doctor
# hermes-stack-doctor
## Overview
A capstone health check that discovers the installation architecture, delegates to focused evidence contracts, and reports one GREEN, YELLOW, or RED verdict without repairing the stack.
The skill is evidence-first. It identifies unavailable evidence, separates facts from interpretations, and does not claim a repair or successful outcome merely because a command returned without an obvious error.
## When to Use
- Is my Hermes stack healthy?
- Run a complete Hermes doctor.
- Can I trust scheduled automation right now?
- Audit the installation after migration or update.
# hermes-token-audit
## Overview
A read-only, schema-discovering token and cost audit that defaults to aggregate metadata and clearly separates local estimates from provider billing.
The skill is evidence-first. It identifies unavailable evidence, separates facts from interpretations, and does not claim a repair or successful outcome merely because a command returned without an obvious error.
## When to Use
- Where did my Hermes tokens go?
- Which sessions cost the most?
- Did a cron job burn the budget?
- Why does provider billing not match local usage?
# hermes-update-doctor
## Overview
A diagnosis-first update investigator that separates remote drift, repository divergence, process locks, stale caches, partial installs, and runtime-version mismatches.
The skill is evidence-first. It identifies unavailable evidence, separates facts from interpretations, and does not claim a repair or successful outcome merely because a command returned without an obvious error.
## When to Use
- Hermes says it is behind but will not update.
- Update says already current but the version is stale.
- Another Hermes process is blocking the update.
- Diagnose a failed Hermes update.
# interview-me
## Overview
An adaptive interview protocol that asks one high-value question at a time, inspects available sources before questioning the user, and stops when more questions would not change the next action.
The skill is evidence-first. It identifies unavailable evidence, separates facts from interpretations, and does not claim a repair or successful outcome merely because a command returned without an obvious error.
## When to Use
- Interview me before you start.
- Ask me questions so you understand what I want.
- Help me turn this rough idea into a decision brief.
- Learn my preferences before drafting the plan.
# omarchy-theme-maker
## Overview
Builds a complete Omarchy user theme from a single image. The bundled script
extracts dominant colors via median-cut quantization, decides dark or light
mode from saturation-weighted lightness, emits a `colors.toml` using the
canonical Omarchy palette keys calibrated against the stock `tokyo-night`
(dark) and `catppuccin-latte` (light) ramps, enforces WCAG contrast floors on
accent and named colors, and installs the image as the theme background.
The skill never edits stock themes under `/usr/share/omarchy/` and never
writes outside `~/.config/omarchy/themes/<slug>/`. It does not theme non-
Omarchy desktops and does not cover general Omarchy configuration.
## Overview
An evidence-driven trust audit that reads source and release machinery, treats popularity as context rather than proof, and separates technical legitimacy from adoption fit.
The skill is evidence-first. It identifies unavailable evidence, separates facts from interpretations, and does not claim a repair or successful outcome merely because a command returned without an obvious error.
## Overview
A read-only multi-surface duplicate check across source, history, branches, issues, pull requests, roadmaps, and contributor guidance.
# Repository Readiness Audit
## Overview
Use this skill to answer a broad repository-state question before new work
begins. It determines whether the repository is ready for further
development, release work, a new feature, a handoff, or a new contributor.
This is a **read-only evidence audit**. It does not repair findings. It does not
equate a clean working tree, passing tests, or a green local build with overall
repository readiness. It verifies each relevant surface independently and
records any surface that could not be checked.
This skill covers repository-level readiness. Packaging integrity, upgrade
rehearsal, registry publication, signed artifacts, deployment verification, andView the complete source on GitHubwhat-have-we-done-today
# What Have We Done Today
## Overview
A manual, on-demand daily recap for any Hermes installation. It scans three
local surfaces for today's activity — sessions (default profile plus every
named profile, all sources), kanban boards (done today, running, blocked,
todo/ready), and cron stores (jobs that ran, errored, are running now, or are
due today) — then writes a plain append-friendly daily markdown log the user
can read to remember what happened and what is still open.
Stdlib Python only. Read-only on all databases (`mode=ro`); the only write is
the daily markdown file in the recap directory. It is intentionally NOT a
cron job: it runs when a human actually wants the recap (tired, stoned,View the complete source on GitHubx-analytics-import
# X Analytics Import
## Overview
Use this skill to turn X Analytics CSV exports into validated, normalized, private local snapshots. The deterministic engine is `scripts/x_analytics_import.py`; it uses only the Python standard library and has no network, browser, Git, or publishing side effects.
The operating rule is simple:
```text
first run: inspect -> validate-only -> dry-run -> full-import
later runs: inspect -> validate-only -> dry-run -> incremental-import -> compare
```
How the signals fit together
Facts from a static read of the files at the pinned commit. They describe what the code does, not why.
Some files could not be read; the facts below still hold.
