When your agent uses it
Clean, honest dashboard UI for web and SwiftUI — KPI cards, charts, heatmaps, bullet graphs, comparison periods, ranked breakdowns, date range pickers, filters, empty and loading states, wide and phone layouts, plus a screenshot QA pass. Use when building, redesigning or critiquing an analytics, revenue, metrics, school or admin dashboard, a stats page, or any data-heavy screen.

# Dashboard design
Distilled from 127 shipped dashboard screens, the field's classics (Stephen Few, Edward Tufte, Cole Nussbaumer
Knaflic, Cleveland & McGill, Nielsen Norman Group), two full teardowns, and real redesigns where every rule below
was broken once, seen on a screenshot, and fixed. Sources: [references/sources.md](references/sources.md).
A dashboard answers **one question per screen at first glance** ("is the school OK today?", "is it growing, and
what's driving it?"), shows what needs attention, and puts the action one click away. Every element answers the
question, flags a problem, or gets out of the way.
## Leading words
- **First glance**: what a reader gets in 3 seconds without hovering. Design for it first.
- **Monitor**: the reader's sequence: overview → what needs attention → closer look → act. Problems are found in aView the complete source on GitHubSkills included
